A member of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia can become any company, enterprise, other legal entity or entrepreneur established under the regulations of the Republic of Serbia, as well as a natural person who is a citizen of the Republic of Serbia. Pursuant to Article 35 of the Statute, the Board of Directors of the Institute makes a decision on admission of members of the Institute and termination of membership in the Institute, as well as a decision establishing the membership fee for each year.
Member Categories: (1) Full, (2) Honorary, and (3) Honorary Members.
Regular members are interested parties who have joined the Institute in accordance with the procedure laid down in the Statute of the Institute and the Rulebook on membership.
Honorary Members are distinguished individuals appointed by the Assembly of the Institute as Honorary Members in accordance with the general act on the nomination and appointment of Honorary and Honorary Members, having regard to their scientific research work, significant professional work, special support or other significant contribution in relation to national , European or international standardization, that is, the activity of the Institute.
Honorary members are distinguished individuals and organizations from among the regular members of the Institute, who were appointed by the Assembly of the Institute as deserving members in accordance with the general act on nomination and appointment of honorary and deserving members, having in mind their many years of fruitful work in the bodies and working bodies of the Institute , or European or international standardization organizations, or other contributions to national, European or international standardization.
