ISO published the article on re-launching the ISS Bulletin “Standardization”

Just before the release of the second issue of the renewed ISS Bulletin, the International Organization for Standardization ISO published the article “CONNECTING SERBIANS TO THE HOTTEST TOPICS IN STANDARDS“.

The text gives a historical review of the content of the Bulletin “Standardization” first issue, which was published in August 1950. One of the important articles informed the public that the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia joined ISO community as the 28th member, just three years after ISO was founded in 1947. There is also the retrospective of the previous Bulletin editions, as well as the changes in the name and form of the national standardization body of Serbia. The text also provides an overview of the most important topics covered by the new ISS Bulletin: presentation of the publication „Crisis COVID-19: from managerial theory to practice“, an article on Serbian standards and women´s enrepreneurship, news on national, European and International standardization related to water resources and waste water treatmnet, as well as a text on biosporin, biodegradable styrofoam which, according to its properties, was declared the 2020 Best Technological Innovation in Serbia.

ISS Bulletin will be published four times a year, and, in addition to standardization news, quality infrastructure and innovation, future issues will include interviews with associates and ISS members, as well as with members of the national technical committees, who will talk about their experiences in the field of standardization.
