As it was announced in the previous period, in October this year, the standard was published in the Serbian language SRPS EN 16931-1:2019 + AC:2020,_ Electronic invoicing - Part 1: Semantic data model of the core elements of an electronic invoice_.
SRPS EN 16931-1:2019 + AC:2020 is a translation of the Serbian standard of the same name in English adopted in 2019, combined with the correction from 2020 and is publicly available. All registered users of the ISS website can download it at the following link: https://iss.rs/sr_Cyrl/project/show/iss:proj:102613.
This standard establishes a semantic data model of the basic elements of an electronic invoice, which includes the key information elements that an electronic invoice should have. Its application ensures regulatory compliance and interoperability (cross-sectoral, domestic and international). It can be used by private and public organizations for invoicing in public procurement. It takes into account the needs of small and medium enterprises and is therefore suitable for use in business transactions between business entities in the private sector.
SRPS EN 16931-1:2019 + AC:2020 is technologically neutral and compatible with relevant international standards for electronic invoicing. It enables the establishment of practical, affordable, flexible and economical electronic invoicing systems.
