The Ceremonial Academy on the occasion of the Day of the School of Electrical Engineering of the University of Belgrade was held in the building of the technical faculty on Saturday, 23 December, 2023. The event was attended by representatives of the Institute among the numerous guests.
The Institute for Standardization of Serbia and the School of Electrical Engineering signed an agreement on business and technical cooperation last year, with the aim of promoting standards among the student population, as well as providing support to the promising H-Bridges student team. The celebration of the Day of the School of Electrical Engineering was an opportunity to meet again with representatives of H-Bridges, but also with many local experts in the field of electrical engineering with whom the Institute successfully cooperates.
The School of Electrical Engineering was founded in 1948, with two departments: Energy and Telecommunications. Today, this faculty represents a top educational and scientific institution in the field of electrical engineering and computing, with two departments: Electrical Engineering and Computing (ER) and Software Engineering (SI).
At the anniversary celebration of the School, Dr. Dejan Gvozdić, dean of the School, prof. Dr. Vladan Đokić, Rector of the University of Belgrade, Mr. Mihailo Jovanović, Minister of Information and Telecommunications in the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Dr. Aleksandar Jović, Assistant Minister for Higher Education. Also, part of the program included the screening of a short film about the School, as well as the performance of musical scores by students.
