In a formal ceremony today, the Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) received certificates reaffirming its consistent adherence to an Integrated Management System (IMS). Ms. Dragana Radenković, representing the certification body "DQS group," presented the certificates to ISS Director Tatjana Bojanić.
The Institute has maintained a certified Integrated Management System for quality and information security since 2010. Over the years, eight supervisory and four certification audits have been conducted to ensure compliance with the certification rules. These audits have consistently confirmed the Institute's adherence to the ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 standards. In 2023, the ninth consecutive audit was performed, followed by two monitoring visits: on August 21-22 for the Quality Management System (QMS) and August 22 and September 8 for the Information Security Management System (ISMS). Both monitoring visits yielded positive findings.
ISS certification activities encompass planning, adopting, publishing, and selling standards, along with providing information and education services in the field of standardization.
The Institute for Standardization of Serbia is the first national standardization body that implemented ISO/IEC 27001 and has its information security management system certified in accordance with the requirements of this International standard.
