The significance of marking this date is also shown by the statistical data of the World Health Organization (WHO) on the growth of the number of accidents and diseases related to work, due to which more than two million people in the world lose their lives every year. The global pandemic caused great losses, and in addition to the direct impact on human health, it also caused negative economic and social consequences.
On 12 May, ISS is organizing a webinar dedicated to the standard SRPS ISO 45003:2021 — Occupational health and safety management — Psychological health and safety at work — Guidelines for managing psychosocial risks, which provides a unique set of guidelines and practical recommendations for the management of risks related to safety and health at work caused by psychosocial factors. This document was published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in mid-2021 (ISO 45003:2021), and the Institute for Standardization of Serbia published SRPS ISO 45003:2021 in Serbian in December of the same year. This standard was adopted by the ISS NTC CASCO.
