New ISS webinar - Quality Management System in Automotive Industry (IATF 16949:2016 - Automotive Quality Management System)

ISO 9001 - the primary standard for the quality management system is applicable to all organizations, regardless of their activity. However, precisely because of this, the requirements contained in this standard are general and when applied, must be adapted to the conditions applicable to a particular industrial branch. When it comes to the automotive industry, there is a standard that represents the perfect tool for the implementing a QMS in organizations belonging to this type of industry. The standard we are talking about is IATF 16949:2016, which includes all the particularities of the automotive industry.

This standard defines the QMS requirements for the design and development, production and, where applicable, assembly, installation and servicing of automotive products, including the products with built-in software. It is applicable at the company locations, where the parts and accessories are being produced or serviced, specified by the buyer/user. This QMS standard for automotive industry should be applied through the entire supply chain in the automotive industry.

The webinar is primarily intended for those working in the automotive industry, but also for all those working in any kind of manufacturing industry, and strives to be at the level expected from the suppliers in this demanding industry branch, from the point of view of efficiency and effectiveness.

In order to facilitate the implementation and application of this standard to all our customers from the automotive industry, the Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) prepared a new webinar, scheduled for 16 June 2020. At this webinar, the participants will have the opportunity to find out about the basic information about IATF 16949:2016 standard, but also to get an overview of all its requirements and when and why this international standard was developed, as well as how it complements the requirements of ISO 9001.
