2022 ISS Annual Report published and now available

The most significant activities and results of the Institute achieved in the previous year were published in the Annual Report on the work of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia for the year 2022.

The Report contains data on all segments of the ISS activities, starting with the number of published Serbian standards in the general areas of standardization and in standardization in the field of electrical engineering and information technology, as well as the development of a database of standardized terms to the participation of the ISS representatives at the meetings at the international and regional level.

In a separate section, all promotional events are listed, followed by seminars and trainings for various areas of standardization.

One part of the Annual Report contains information on the sale of standards and other services of the Institute: providing professional assistance, certification and the project of translating standards into the Serbian language. Financial data on business operations in the previous year are also presented.

In 2022, a strategic document was adopted for the development of the Institute in the next three years, entitled "Development Program of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia for the period 2022-2024."

In cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, research was conducted on the impact of the application of standards in the national economy, based on which a publication was published available in Serbian and English on the website of the Institute. As part of the same program, a "Portal for construction products" was launched on the Institute's website, which provides information on regulations and standards for trade in construction products on the domestic and single European market.

The ISS initiated cooperation with educational institutions in Serbia in order to implement joint activities that will provide students with the opportunity to get knowledge about standards and the system of quality infrastructure. For the needs of student activities, both daily ones and participation in competitions, ISS has provided sponsored online reading of Serbian standards.

In 2022, the national standardization body implemented a pilot project for the awarding of the national mark of conformity, and during the celebration of Institute Day and World Standards Day, annual recognitions for the development of standardization in Serbia were presented.

У посебном одељку наведени су сви промотивни догађаји, затим одржани семинари и обуке за различите области стандардизације.

Један део Годишњег извештаја о раду нуди и информације о продаји стандарда и о осталим услугама Института: пружању стручне помоћи, сертификацији и пројекту превођења стандарда на српски језик. Нису изостали ни финансијски подаци о пословању у претходној години.

У 2022. години донет је и стратешки документ за развој Института у наредне три године, под називом „Програм развоја Института за стандардизацију Србије за период 2022–2024. године“.

У сарадњи са Министарством привреде и Привредном комором Србије спроведено је истраживање о утицају примене стандарда у националној привреди на основу којег је објављена публикација доступна на српском и енглеском језику на веб-сајту Института.
У оквиру истог програма на веб-сајту Института покренут је „Портал за грађевинске производе“ који пружа информације о прописима и стандардима за трговину грађевинским производима на домаћем и јединственом европском тржишту.

Институт је покренуо сарадњу са образовним институцијама у Србији у циљу спровођења заједничких активности које ће студентима обезбедити стицање знања о стандардима и систему инфраструктуре квалитета. За потребе студентских активности, како оних свакодневних тако и учествовања на такмичењима, Институт је омогућио спонзорисано онлајн читање српских стандарда.

У 2022. години национално тело за стандардизацију реализовало је и пилот пројекат за доделу националног знака усаглашености, а приликом обележавања Дана Института и Светског дана стандарда уручена су годишња признања за развој стандардизације у Србији.
