The National Symposium "Safety in Healthcare", intended for the management of the healthcare institutions and the staff engaged in security, IT support and human resources management, was recently announced as a web-symposium. However, since it is feasible to hold it live in the current circumstances, the venue has been determined and a new date has been set. The symposium will be held in compliance with all the recommended protection measures.
The planned and long-expected symposium will take place on 26 June 2020, at the "Klub poslanika", Tolstojeva No.2, Belgrade.
The symposium will be an opportunity for the participants to become familiar with the standards related to safety and guidelines for the safety in healthcare.
Additionally, the innovations related to the field of personal data protection in healthcare and the area of reducing risks and disaster management will be presented and discussed about. Finally, the participants will have the opportunity to exchange expert opinions and experiences, which represents the basis for improving the security system of the healthcare institutions, as well as preventing and reducing the risk of endagering all actors in the healthcare services system.
The symposium is organized by the Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) in cooperation with Center for Risk Analysis and Crisis Management (CRACM), and under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Repiblic of Serbia. The lecturers at the symposium are the experts from: the Ministry of Health, the Institute of Public Health of Serbia "Dr Milan Jovanović Batut", Faculty of Security Studies, CRACM and ISS.
The registration fee is 6.500,00 RSD.
The Healthcare Council of Serbia will award 4 points for the license to healthcare workers for passive participation in the symposium.
