On the occasion of publishing SRPS ISO/IEC 27701:2020 – Security techniques – Extension to ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27002 for privacy information management -- Requirements and guidelines in Serbian language, on 29 May 2020, the Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) is organizing a free lecture on the subject of personal data protection.
The lecture is online and starts at 10:00 am. It is intended for all interested parties, with the special emphasis to those that have to apply the Law on Personal Data Protection.
This lecture is organized jointly with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection and Center for Risk Analysis and Crisis Management (CRACM). The lecturer is Zlatko Petrović, Assistant to the General Secretary of the Sector for the Surveillance of the Commissioner.
At this lecture, you will be able to find out more about:
- the new Law on Personal Data Protection - when was it published, when does it come into force and when is the starting date for its application,
- what is meant by personal data and how are they processed,
- what are profiling and pseudonymization,
- what are genetic and biometric data about a person,
- the fulfillment on the conditions for lawful data processing,
- the data retention and the timelines for data retention, as well as on all other provisions and principles of the Law.
