7 December 2020 - Meeting at the Rectorate of the University of Belgrade

At the meeting between Ms. Ivanka Popović, the Rector of the University of Belgrade, and Ms. Tatjana Bojanić, ISS Director, held today in the Rectorate premises, there were talks about the possibilities for establishing cooperation and building relations between these two institutions. Bearing in mind that todays students are future standards users, any activity by which they acquire the necessary knowledge regarding standards is of particular importance, and it will be helpfull in their professional work.

This cooperation will include easier access to Serbian standards and related documents for the faculties of the University of Belgrade, as well as encouraging the participation of faculty professors in the national standardization development process. The connection between the national standardization body and the faculties of the University of Belgrade, primarily the technical ones, will facilitate the students to get familiar with the benefits of standards implementation and application. Considering the direct link between standards and innovations, students will be further involved in the development of innovations in this way.

ISS has alreday established and continues to maintan successful long-term cooperation with several faculties and higher education institutions in our country.
