8 December 2020 – Webinar: Rulebook and standards on PPE – New developments in legislative documents

New Rulebook on PPE („Official Journal of RS”, No. 23/2020) came into force in May 2020, and by the end of June, in the „Official Journal of RS”, No. 90/2020, the list of Serbian standards in the field of PPE was published. Taking into consideration the importance of health and safety in the workplace, ISS is organizing a specialized webinar for the experts from this field. The lecturers at the webinar were directly involved in the development of the Rulebook on PPE.
The following topics will be covered at the webinar:
• essential health and safety requirements, before placing this equipment on the market,
• the categoties and types of PPE,
• the conformity assessment procedures,
• the assumptions of conformity,
• the contents of the technical documentation,
• the contents of the declaration of conformity,
• mark of conformity,
• requirements that must be fulfilled by the conformity assessment bodies in order to be appointed for the conformity assessment procedure.
The webinar is intended for the producers, importers and distributors of PPE, accredited organizations in the field of PPE, persons in charge of sales and procurement of PPE, employers and persons in charge of safety and health at work in companies, athletes, sports organizations and recreational users who use PPE, and other direct PPE users.
The lecturers at the webinar will be:
- Jelena Ivančević, Sector for quality and product safety, Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia, and
- Marina Donić, ISS NTC Secretary of several TCs.
The webinar will be in Serbian language.
