9 December 2020 - Free webinar: Design of structures according to Eurocodes using state of the art software

On 9 December 2020, in cooperation with the company Baldinistudio International from Novi Sad, ISS is organizing a free of charge webinar intended for the Serbian experts in the construction and civil engineering industry.The concept and principles of Eurocodes and the application of SCIA Engineer Software in the design and calculation of structures which facilitates the practical application of Eurocodes, will be presented at this webinar.

Standards for Eurocodes are a set of harmonized technical rules for the design of building structures or their elements as a whole. Eurocodes include 10 series of standards (SRPS EN 1990 - SRPS EN 1999) referring to the different areas of construction. The application of these standards enables a unique understanding of strucrural design among all the participants in the construction process and a common basis for further research and development.

The application of Eurocodes is implemented into Serbian legislative system by the Rulebook for building constructions. This Rulebook refers to 58 Eurocodes and 186 Serbian standards, which makes the application of these documents mandatory.
