About the portal

The portal represents the easiest way to find Serbian standards that represent the adoptions of the  European harmonized standards (hEN) in the field of machinery. It ensures an updated list and comprehensive overview of hEN, enabling manufacturers (primarily small and medium-sized enterprises), distributors, importers, and other professionals and users involved in the processes of standardization, accreditation, conformity assessment, testing, inspection, and certification of products to obtain all necessary information about standards supporting the application of the Rulebook on Safety of Machinery in the Republic of Serbia, or Directive 2006/42/EC and its Amendments from the Directive 2009/127/EC, in a simple and accessible manner without the need to search other websites. All interested parties in the Republic of Serbia can regularly follow and receive information about the standards they need here.

The portal's structure is divided into sections, designed to be user-friendly, where more detailed information on the topics of those sections can be found. The latest summary list of European harmonized standards published in the OJEU (available on the European Commission's website), as well as Serbian standards adopting hENs, stored in the ISS Standards Management System (SMIS), is automatically updated and synchronized through this system to ensure updated editions of Serbian standards adopting the latest editions of hEN within the deadlines prescribed by CEN and CENELEC. The management and updating of all other segments/sections of the portal, such as their contents and lists of Serbian standards within certain regulations in the Republic of Serbia, is performed by ISS employees.
