CEN CENELEC General Assembly meetings, Prague, Czech Republic

The 57th CEN General Assembly meeting, the 63rd CENELEC General Assembly meeting and the 13th General Assembly of CEN and CENELEC were held yesterday, in Prague, Czech Republic. Representatives of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia, Tatjana Bojanić, ISS Director, with her associates were present at these events, which were organized by the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMZ).

ÚNMZ, as the national standardization body of the Czech Republic, hosted this year's regular meetings of CEN and CENELEC members. At the end of all sessions, the participants were introduced to the ISS, which is the next organizer and host of the meetings and the General Assemblies of CEN and CENELEC in June 2023. The Institute has had the status of a full member in these organizations since 2017. The organization of the most important annual meetings of European standardization bodies will be an opportunity for participants to get to know the host ISS, as well as our capital.

On the occasion of the official announcement of the organization of these events, ISS has prepared a two-minute promotional video, which shows the recognizable features of our country, positive energy and hospitality. This video was well received in Prague, where it was presented as a virtual invitation to all CEN and CENELEC members to come and be our guests in Belgrade next year.
