Scope

Standardization in the field of bitumens originating from oil refinig process, modified bitumens, polymer modified bituminous thick coatings for waterproofing, bitumenous emulsions, cut-back and fluxed bituminous binders, suitable for the use in the construction and maintenance of roads and other industrial applications, also derivates from coal pyrolysis and flexible sheets for waterproofing, bitumen and synthetic flexible sheets for waterproofing of buildings, bridges, tunnels and other building and engineering constructions. Standardization of all stated products is carried out in terms of terminology, classification, specifications, methods of sampling, measurement, analysis, testing and conformity assessment.
