Contemporary policies of crisis management

The International two-day conference „Safety crisis in 21st century and managing them” was held on 13 and 14 October 2020. At the conference, several leading experts and scientists from Serbia, countries from the region and UK exchanged experiences in the area of contemporary management risks and crisis, particularly in the conditions of pandemic, migrant crisis and numerous social and econimic challenges across Europe and the region. This half-hour recording highlights the most interesting parts of the first day of the conference. The use of simulation models and the the elements of efficient lidership in crisis were presented.

The organizer of this conference was the Center for Risk Analysis and Crisis Management (CRACM) from Belgrade, in cooperation with Croatian Association for International Studies, Institute for Development and International Relations and Libertas International University from Zagreb, Croatia. Given the importance and relevance of the topic, the Institute for Standardization of Serbia ISS joined the conference as a partner.

The conclusions from the conference can be used as a guidance for the development and implementation of the sector policies, exactly determined actions and activities that are significant for the improvement of „the resilience” in the strategic and operational environment.
