Cooperation between the Institute and the Business Community

On 11 October, 2023, the Union of Employers of Serbia (UPS) and ISS signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Business-Technical Cooperation in the premises of the Union. The Memorandum was signed by Srđan Drobnjaković, UPS Director and Tatjana Bojanić, ISS Director.

The Union of Employers of Serbia (UPS), as a national business organization, represents the rights and interests of domestic employers in social dialogue. In order to improve and upgrade the conditions for doing business in our country, UPS provides its members with information on current regulations, as well as legal assistance. UPS's aspiration to create a stimulating business environment coincides with the Institute's efforts. For this reason, the existence of a common interest in removing obstacles to doing business, especially in the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs, is indisputable.

Considering that standards are an important and useful tool in all economic activities, by connecting business associations with the national standardization body, opportunities are opened up for joint work on strengthening the domestic economy.
