Cooperation with the Ministry of Economy

On Thursday, 9 December, 2021, a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Economy was held at the Institute for Standardization of Serbia. The meeting was attended by Acting Assistant Minister Miodrag Dugandžija with the colleagues from the Sector for quality and product safety, among whom was the new ISS Assembly Chairperson Tanja Petrovic, Miloš Jelić, Member of the ISS Managing Board, Dejana Milinković, former ISS Assembly Chairperson, and Tatjana Bojanić, ISS Director with her colleagues.

The topic of the meeting was the activities of the Institute in relation to the establishment of rules for approving the use of the national mark of conformity with Serbian standards. This is one of the activities assigned to the Institute by Art. 7 of the Law on Standardization ("Official Gazette of RS", No. 36/2009 and 46/2015). All participants in the meeting agreed that the national sign of compliance with Serbian standards should strengthen the trust of producers and service providers, on the one hand, and users, on the other hand, in the importance of applying Serbian standards and values that products and services receive if they meet standard requirements.
