Today the World day for safety and health at work is celebrated worldwide

The International Labour Organization (ILO), as a specialized agency of the United Nations, promotes social justice and the protection of workers' rights on an international level. Founded in 1919, the ILO aims to ensure that every worker has access to safe, dignified, and productive employment under conditions of freedom, equality, security, and respect for human dignity.

World Day for Safety and Health at Work in Serbia

World Day for Safety and Health at Work is also being observed in Serbia. Following the adoption of the new Law on Safety and Health at Work, the Institute for Standardization of Serbia — responsible for adopting the standards regulating this field, including the well-known SRPS ISO 45001:2018 — organizes training sessions several times a year for occupational safety and health associates/advisors.

After successfully completing a training session in April, a new five-day course is scheduled to take place from June 3 to June 9. All interested participants can register via the following link: https://iss.rs/sr_Cyrl/training/course/show/145.
