ISS Annual Report 2024

The Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) has published its 2024 Annual Report, which presents key activities and results achieved in the past year. The report gives a comprehensive overview of the events that marked the ISS work, as well as initiatives that contributed to strengthening national and international cooperation.

A highlight was the celebration of 90 years of standardization in Serbia, marked by a formal academy on October 10 at the University of Belgrade and numerous accompanying activities dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of standards.

Among the most significant events was participation in the 2024 ISO General Assembly, where the ISS Acting Director, Tatjana Bojanić, was elected as a member of the ISO Council (Group 4), which represents great recognition for the ISS work on the international stage.

During the year, an expert workshop was also held with partners from Germany, in cooperation with VDE and GIZ RS, on the topic of technical rules for connecting users to the low-voltage and medium-voltage grid.

As part of the cooperation with the Republic of Srpska, access to translations of Serbian standards was made available to businesspeople, students, and educators in Banja Luka.

The successful cooperation with the Belgrade Fair, which began in 2023 with participation in international energy and ecology fairs, was also continued and further developed during 2024.

In the field of education, training on personal data protection was conducted in cooperation with the Union of Employers of Serbia, which attracted a large number of participants.

A special place in the report is also dedicated to a humanitarian action for International Women's Day, within which the ISS provided support to the Counseling Center against Domestic Violence, showing a continuous commitment to socially responsible action.
