Guide for the innovation management

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization UNIDO in cooperation with the International Organization for Standardization ISO have recently published a practical guide intended for the organizations that have already implemented or are in the process of implementing the innovation management system. This guide extends the guidelines of the International standard for innovation management – ISO 56002:2019, which was published by ISS in April 2021 and in Serbian language as SRPS ISO 56002:2021 (https://iss.rs/en/project/show/iss:proj:100754).

Innovations are the driving force of development and often represent not only a way to improve business, but also a condition for survival on the market. In addition, the modern dynamic environment requires constant adjustments, continuous improvement and willingness to change. For these reasons, innovation today means a competitive advantage and a sure path to success for all organizations.

UNIDO is a specialized agency of the UN established with the aim of promoting industrial development in countries in transition and other developing countries. The experts of this agency saw the importance of international standards for business operations of economic entities, especially small and medium-sized enterprises.

ISO 56002:2019 – Innovation management systems – A practical guide is a document of 114 pages and is available at the price of 38 CHF. It can be purchased in ISS, being the full member of ISO and its only representative in our country authorized for the sales of all International standards and related publications.
