ISS Assembly second regular session in 2023

The second regular session of the Assembly of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia in 2023 was held on 7 November, 2023, in the premises of the Institute. The session was opened by the ISS ssembly Chairperson, Tanja Petrović (Sector for Quality and Product Safety of the Ministry of Economy), who welcomed the attendees and expressed her satisfaction that this session was organized live again after a long time.

At this session, the Director's Report on the work of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia between the two sessions of the Assembly was presented, and in accordance with the powers of the Assembly, the Proposal for the plan for the adoption of Serbian standards and related documents for the year 2024 was adopted (this proposal is available at the following link: https://iss.rs/sr_Cyrl/download/page-section/document/14993). Also, the agenda included informing the members about the General Session of European Organizations for Standardization, which was held in Belgrade from June 19 to 22, 2023, as well as informing about the Report on the supervision of the legality of the work of the bodies and the ISS financial operations in 2023, prepared by the ISS Supervisory Board, and presented by the ISS Supervisory Board Chairperson, Mile Mitrović.

In the final part, the members voted on how the next session of the Assembly will be held. The majority of members supported the decision to hold the next session of the Institute's Assembly in person.
