The most significant tourist event in the region of Southeast Europe - the International Tourism Fair in Belgrade, this year takes place from February 22 to 25, in halls 1, 1A and 4 of the Belgrade Fair. Given that standards are also being adopted in the field of tourism, in order to raise public awareness of their importance, the Institute for Standardization of Serbia is participating as one of the exhibitors at this fair.
Tourism is an economic activity that represents a significant driver of development, bearing in mind the close connection with many other activities and the impact it has on employment, investments and the gross social product of each country. Income from tourism, the number of overnight stays and the number of foreign tourists in the Republic of Serbia is increasing, and the Tourism Fair is a traditional gathering place for the most important representatives of the tourism industry: agencies, associations, organizations, hotel workers and tour operators.
We invite you to visit the Institute's stand in hall 4 and learn more about the services provided by the Institute, as well as a special offer for the duration of the Institute. On Friday, 23 February, at 15:00, a presentation on standards in the field of tourism will be held, and all interested parties will be able to get access to SRPS standards in this area free of charge. Also, for the duration of the Fair, the Institute offers a 50% discount on one of the services of choice: management system certification, in-house training on the subject of the SRPS ISO 9001 standard, or the awarding of the national mark of conformity with Serbian standards.
