ISS participated in the Week of Compliance Function in Banks

The Institute for Standardization of Serbia was part of a five-day virtual event, organized by the Association of Bankers of Serbia from May 24 to 28 this year. As many as 19 lecturers, 7 of them from abroad, participated in this traditional conference called Compliance Week in banks. The topics discussed were the role of ethics in the so-called compliance function, the system of internal controls and its framework, global trends in personal data protection, key elements of managing compliance with personal data, the right to access data and the like.

Tatjana Bojanić, ISS Director, together with the Head of the Sector for International Cooperation, Information and Publishing, Violeta Nešković-Popović, introduced the Institute to the participants. In addition, they spoke about the role and importance of the internationally approved standard for anti-bribery management systems, SRPS ISO 37001: 2017.
