Numerous standards cover the field of medical devices. They are important for all those organizations that deal with medical devices at some stage of their life cycle. In order to facilitate the understanding and implementation of all these standards, ISS organizes various trainings, most of which relate to employees in laboratories and manufacturers of medical devices
Last month, the standard SRPS EN ISO 6009:2017, Hypodermal needles for single use - Colour coding for identification, was published in Serbian. This standard specifies colour coding for the identification of single-use hypodermic needles with a nominal outer diameter ranging from 0,18 mm to 3,4 mm. This standard was previously published in English in 2017.
Each standard has its own life cycle, after which it is confirmed, withdrawn or is replaced by a new standard edition. That's why it's important that all users who follow the standards are up to date so that they can do business in accordance with them.
