
The promotion of digitization in construction through the application of the BIM way of working at the second regional student competition Allplan Student Competition 2022 was also supported by the Institute for Standardization of Serbia, enabling the sponsored annual online reading of the Serbian standards database for the team and faculty from Serbia with the best achieved results.
The organizers of the competition were the companies Baldinistudio, Baldinistudio International and Baldinistudio Slovenia, and this year's host was the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Montenegro. The competition was held in Podgorica from July 20 to 22 with the participation of professors and students from six countries of the region: Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia.
The participants and guests of the competition were greeted by the dean, prof. Dr. Marina Rakočević and the Minister of Science and Technological Development, Prof. Dr. Biljana Šćepanović, who emphasized the importance of digitization of construction through the application of BIM technologies.
Поред такмичарског дела програма, одржана су стручна предавања спонзора, округли сто са темом ,,Колаборација академске заједнице и привреде у примени BIM-а у грађевинарству“, а организован је и обилазак новог аутопута. In addition to the competitive part of the program, expert lectures by sponsors, a round table with the topic "Collaboration of the academic community and the economy in the application of BIM in construction" were held, and a tour of the new highway was also organized.
Through tasks, team projects and presentations of their works, 14 teams of construction and 7 teams of architectural faculties measured their knowledge, creativity and resourcefulness. The best-ranked team of students from Serbia is a representative of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the University of Niš, winning first place in the architecture category.
