The Institute has just published a new electronic edition of the Bulletin "Standardization" for 2023. This year's third edition focuses on innovations and trends in agriculture.
The fact that each issue of the ISS Bulletin has a regular column dedicated to innovative activities speaks for the mutual relationship between innovation and standards. This time, special attention has been paid to the research community in our country, presenting all the opportunities available to individuals and teams who want to develop a new product. In addition to the various support programmes available to them, we should not forget the numerous international standards that can be very useful for inventive activities.
The interview with the international expert and scientist, Professor Fridolin Wild, also offers very interesting information from the point of view of the winner of the European Innovation Award. Readers can find out the main details of the project in the field of modern technologies in education, trends in so-called Augmented Reality, as well as the practical application of standardisation in the development of innovations.
Agricultural production, one of the most important sectors of the economy, is undergoing major changes thanks to innovative technologies. The Bulletin presents examples of modern trends in the introduction of sensors into plant cultivation processes, which help to achieve better results while at the same time respecting the environment.
