We are pleased to present the latest issue of the Standardization bulletin, offering an overview of current topics in the field of standardization and its role in today’s digitally interconnected society.
In this edition, we highlight the work of the NETSI Committee in the area of telecommunications technologies, as well as the importance of standards in the ICT sector, which form the foundation for the functioning of modern networks and devices.
In the section A Word on…, we feature an interview with Magnus Hakvog, CEO of House of Knowledge, who discusses an innovative approach to education on standardization through gamification. This engaging concept was developed in cooperation with the Finnish organization METSTA and serves as an example of how complex standardization concepts can be made accessible even to younger audiences.
In the section Standardization in Context…, you can also read an interview with Vladimir Simić, a long-standing expert in the field of management systems. Throughout his career, he has worked as a trainer in numerous courses, supported organizations in implementing management system standards, and served as an auditor.
In the international standardization section, we also reflect on the role of standards in organizing major sporting events, such as the Winter Olympic Games 2026.
We invite you to explore the new issue and learn more about the importance of standards across various aspects of modern society.
