New issue of Bulletin “Standardization” published

We are pleased to inform you that a new issue of the “Standardization” bulletin has been published, bringing you the latest news from the world of standardization – both nationally and internationally.

In the “Introducing” section, we will present you with the work of the ISS NTC CASCO, which deals with conformity assessment and quality management. The committee's work is focused on the application of the most well-known international standards and the harmonization of national practices with them.

In the “In Focus” section, we address the application of standards in small and medium-sized enterprises. Learn more about how standards promote growth, innovation, and competitiveness, as well as ways to increase the involvement of enterprises in standardization processes.

It is a great honor for us that in the “A Word About...” section this time, we present an exclusive interview with Ms. Maitane Olabarria Uzquiano, Secretary General of the SBS (Small Business Standards) organization. We discussed her career, SBS's priorities, and the role of standards in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, especially in EU candidate countries.

We also bring an overview of the most important activities of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia in the previous three months, and in the “Standardization in Context” section, read more about cybersecurity, the dark web phenomenon, and the role of standards in risk management.

Finally, in the “Interesting Facts from European and International Standardization” section, we present the new digital platform “IEC White Label”, which brings a modern way of accessing and using standards, in accordance with the requirements of the digital age.
