Scope

This part of IEC 61753 contains the minimum requirements and severities, which a hardened fibre optic connector with single-fibre ferrule or multi-fibre ferrule terminated on singlemode fibre must satisfy in order to be categorized as meeting the IEC standard category A – Outdoor aerial environment, as defined in Annex A of IEC 61753-1.
