Scope

Specifies a method for the measurement of the reflectivity characteristics responsible for the appearance of high-gloss metal surfaces. The method is not suitable for diffuse-finish metal surfaces, nor does it measure colour, which is another appearance attribute. Precision of goniophotometers is included in an annex.
