Scope

Standardization of procedures to mechanically homogenize aquatic macroinvertebrate specimens collected in the context of, e.g., biodiversity assessments and regulatory biomonitoring of inland surface waters, and subsequent DNA extraction, including terminology, laboratory requirements, contamination avoidance, quality control, recommendation of devices, voucher and DNA storage.
