Scope

This document specifies characteristics, their determinaion/assessment methods and the relevant FPC conditions allowing the AVCP of reinforcement corrosion prevention products. Reinforcement corrosion prevention products are applied unprotected einforcement to improve the durability of the repair by control of anodic areas. Intended use is for uses with low performance requirements (products used for repair or protection tasks which are irrelevant for the stability and structural safety of the construction) and for other uses in buildings and civil engineering works (products used for repair or protection tasks which are relevant for the stability and structural safety of the construction).
This document does not cover products for corrosion prevention of pre-stressing steels and stainless steels embedded in repair materials and intended to be used in buildings and civil engineering works.
