Security and resilience - Risk assessment - Requirements and guidance for conformity assessment

Scope

1.1 General
This standard establishes the requirements and methodology of risk assessment in the field of security and resilience of society and gives concrete and precise instructions regarding the principles, processes and adequate implementation of risk assessment results, in order to improve the security and resilience of the organization. This standard also harmonizes the way of using and applying the provisions of the standard SRPS A.L2.001, Social security - Private security services - Vocabulary and SRPS A.L2.002, Social security - Private security services - Requirements and instructions for assessing conformity, or parts those standards related to risk management.
1.2 Scope
The risk assessment process according to the requirements of this standard is applied both to determine the level and category of risk at the level of the entire organization, as well as for its organizational parts (branches, separate locations) with a unique ID number in accordance with regulations. This standard is intended for the following users:
- public authorities;
- organizations that provide private security services;
- organizations that use private security services;
- organizations that organize self-protection activities, i.e. internal security service;
- organizations that perform risk assessment for their own needs;
– insurance companies;
- those who internally in the organization or externally evaluate the implementation of the requirements of SRPS A.L2.002, Social security - Private security services - Requirements and instructions for assessing compliance or check compliance with the requirements of the SRPS A.L2.002 standard;
- those who need to understand each other using the terminology used in the field of personal, property and business security;
- those who internally or externally provide advisory or educational assistance to the organization in relation to SRPS A.L2.002.
