Scope

The present document covers the minimum characteristics considered necessary in order tomake the best use of the available frequencies. It does not necessarily include all the characteristics, which may be required by a user, nor does it necessarily represent the optimum performance achievable.
It applies to non-speech and to the non-speech part of combined speech/non-speech equipment with integral antennas, used in constant envelope angle modulation systems in the land mobile service, operating on radio frequencies between 30MHz and 1 000MHz, with channel separations of 12,5 kHz, 20 kHz and 25 kHz.
