Scope

This test method covers the determination of sulfur in petroleum products in the range from 0.02 to 10.00 mg/kg. This test method may be extended to higher concentration by dilution. This test method is аpplicable to liquids whose boiling points are between 30 and 371°C (86 and 700°F). Materials that can be analyzed include naphtha, kerosine, alcohol, steam condensate, various distillates, jet fuel, benzene, and toluene. The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard.
