Scope

The present document states the minimum requirements for general communication for shipborne fixed installations using DSC - class D. Class D DSC is intended be used in the Very High Frequency (VHF) band of the Maritime Mobile Service (MMS), for distress, urgency and safety communication and general communications using telephony for subsequent communications.
