Scope

This document specifies product characteristics and describes test methods for flexible connectors intended to be used in CO2, inert-gas or halocarbon gas-fire extinguishing systems.
This document covers connectors of the following types: Type 1 to Types 4 (see 3.8 to 3.11).
This document specifies procedures for assessment and verification of constancy (AVCP) of performance for characteristics of flexible connectors.
This document does not cover the following:
- installation techniques for flexible connectors;
- details on service life time and maintenance.
