Scope

This standard specifies the method for determination of resistance of paper and board to release paper fibers, particles or dust usually consisting of particulate fibers, filers or very small aggregates of such materials, during printing. Those particles may be completely free on the surface or lightly attached to it, but they also may be released in some of the printing stages. Standard is applied for testing of any type of paper or board, except crepe papers.
