Scope

This European standard specifies requirements for testing of piles within the scope of the geotechnical investigations and testing according to ENV 1997 and to EN 1536. The purpose of this European standard is to eliminate as far as possible erroneous assessments
of pile conditions and the uncertainities of design methods as well as to limit scatter when repeating tests and improve reproducibility when testing piles.
