Following last year's session in Brussels, members of the European Technical Committee CEN/TC 114, Safety of Machinery are meeting for the first time in Belgrade. Some of the key issues to be discussed at the session include reporting on new projects, the proposed standard prEN ISO 12100, Safety of machinery - General principles for design - Risk assessment and risk reduction, the latest information on the new Machinery Safety Requirements and its impact on the work of CEN/TC 114, as well as the standardization request „Machinery“, the revision of CEN GUIDE 414, Safety of machinery – Rules for the drafting and presentation of safety standards, and the offer of CEN/TC114 to provide support in preparing guidelines for the Machinery Safety Requirements.
The session in Belgrade will be attended by the Chairperson of the CEN/TC 114, Otto Görnemann, and the CEN/TC 114 Secretary, Christian Thom, as well as twelve members of the CEN/TC 114. Other members who were unable to come to Belgrade will join them online.
As part of the two-day session, a city tour is also planned so that the ISS guests have the opportunity to get acquainted with the cultural tradition of Serbia.
