Quality Council established by the Serbian Government

The Government of the Republic of Serbia has passed the Decision on the establishment of the Quality Council, as an expert advisory body with the aim of developing the area of ​​quality infrastructure in Serbia. This decision came into force on 22 January, 2022.

The task of the Council will be to monitor and analyze the implementation of activities in the field of quality infrastructure, provide opinions and recommendations, as well as consider issues of importance for the development and improvement of quality infrastructure in the Republic of Serbia. In its work, the Council will cooperate with state bodies, bodies of autonomous provinces, local self-governments, organizations and other interested parties in the field of quality infrastructure.

It is also important that the Council can form special and professional working groups in order to carry out activities in the areas for which it is established. The decision stipulates that the Council reports on its work to the Government, at least once a year.

The Council brings together experts from all areas of technical regulations and quality infrastructure and has a president, vice president and nineteen members.
