Management system helps organizations to improve their performance and use resources more efficiently. The quality management system according to ISO 9001 is the most famous in the world and can be implemented in all sectors. Given the specifics of individual activities, new standards have been developed tailored to their needs, and one of them is the international and European standard for quality management system in the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries.
SRPS EN ISO 29001:2020, Petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries - Sector-specific quality management systems - Requirements for product and service supply organizations, has just been published in Serbian language (https://iss.rs/en/project/show/iss:proj:66035). This document is written as a supplement to ISO 9001:2015 and defines quality management system requirements for product and service supply organizations to the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries. In SRPS EN ISO 29001, the supplementary requirements and guidance to ISO 9001:2015 have been developed to manage supply chain risks and opportunities associated with the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries and to provide a framework for aligning requirements with complementary standards employed within the industries. The English version of this standard was published in July 2020.
ISS NTC PKS B067 (https://iss.rs/en/committee/show/9256), Petroleum mining, adopted this European standard as a Serbian standard SRPS EN ISO 29001.
