Say YES to Standards: The Institute for Standardization of Serbia at the 61st International Furniture Fair

The Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) is participating this year in the 61st International Furniture, Equipment and Interior Decoration Fair, which will be held from October 8 to 12, 2025, at the Belgrade Fair, running parallel with the 61st International Fair of Machinery and Tools for the Wood Industry.

Furniture Fair: Tradition, Innovation, and Standards

The International Furniture Fair is the most significant regional event in the field of furniture production and distribution. It brings together manufacturers, distributors, designers, engineers, architects, and visitors eager to learn about current trends and view the offerings of high-quality and functional furniture.

This year’s event introduces a new exhibition concept, featuring direct furniture sales at special fair prices, as well as opportunities for consultations with experts and designers.

The Fair serves as an important international platform that connects producers, designers, experts, and business partners, fostering the development of the wood industry in Serbia and the region.

ISS Holds Expert Lecture on Standardization:

„Standardization in the Field of Furniture and Woodworking Machinery“

Visitors to the Fair will have the opportunity to visit the Institute’s stand in Hall 2 (Level A), where we will present the importance and role of standardization in the furniture and wood industry, as well as current standards and documents that contribute to the development of this economic sector.

The lecture, titled “Standardization in the Field of Furniture and Woodworking Machinery,” is scheduled for Friday, October 10, at 13:00.

We invite all members of technical committees, Fair participants, experts from the wood industry, and interested citizens to attend this lecture and learn about the importance of applying standards in product design, manufacturing, and safety.

Through this participation, the Institute for Standardization of Serbia continues to actively contribute to improving the quality, safety, and competitiveness of domestic wood industry products by connecting standards with practice.

The Certification Body of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia will also be present at the Furniture Fair and will provide a fair discount on its services.
