Serbian conformity mark and CE mark

In accordance with Article 11 of the Law on Construction Products ("Official Gazette of RS", No. 83/2018), the Serbian mark of conformity is placed on those construction products for which the manufacturer has drawn up a declaration of performance in accordance with Articles 7 and 9 of this Law.

The manufacturer who puts, or if the Serbian mark of conformity is put on his behalf, thereby confirms that he assumes responsibility for the conformity of that construction product with the performance specified in the declaration of performance, as well as compliance with all requirements established by this law and other regulations that provide for placing Serbian mark of conformity on construction products.

For a construction product whose requirements are determined by a Serbian technical specification or technical regulation, the Serbian mark of conformity is the only mark that confirms the conformity of that construction product with the performance specified in the performance declaration in relation to the essential characteristics determined by the Serbian standard from the list of Serbian standards representing the adoptions of harmonized standards that are applied in accordance with this law, the Serbian standard to which the technical regulation refers to, the technical regulation or the Serbian technical assessment issued for it.

Marks of conformity placed in accordance with the technical regulations that determine the requirements for placing a conformity mark are considered conformity marks in the sense of this law.

The Serbian mark of conformity consists of three capital letters A connected in the form of an equilateral triangle (3A).

In accordance with Article 11 of the Law on Construction Products ("Official Gazette of the RS", No. 83/2018), the CE mark is placed on a construction product for which the manufacturer has made a performance declaration, in accordance with a special regulation, by which it is confirmed its compliance with the harmonized standard or with the European technical assessment issued for it with content written in the Serbian language.

The CE mark of conformity consists of the stylized Latin letter mark "CE".
