At the end of April, after its adoption in English language in 2018, ISS published the bilingual edition of SRPS ISO 21001, Educational organizations – Management systems for educational organizations – Requirements with guidance for use. SRPS ISO 21001:2018 specifies requirements for a management system for educational organizations (EOMS) that are generic and intended to be applicable to any organization that uses a curriculum to support the development of competence through teaching, learning or research, regardless of the type, size or method of delivery. Educational organizations around the world use this document in order to fulfill the requirements of the students and other users, as well as other relevant interested parties. This standard can be applied to educational organizations within larger organizations whose core business is not education, such as professional training departments.
This document promotes the adoption of a process approach for the purpose of increasing the satisfaction of all users, particularly students. The process approach allows the organization to manage the interrelationships and interdependencies of the process in the system, in order to improve the overall performance of the organization.
