Sustainable innovation

The competition for the selection of the best technological innovation in Serbia is a project under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, and ISS has just joined as one of the participants in it. The agreement on business-program cooperation, signed this week, defines the framework of the cooperation, which includes joint activities to promote and successfully realize this competition.

The competition for the best technological innovation promotes the entrepreneurial approach and an innovative environment in the Republic of Serbia through providing educational and financial assistance to researchers. In addition to the entrepreneurs who have already presented their high-tech innovations, the competition also encourages inventiveness in the category of high school and university students.
The team submission of applications for the participation in the category Innovations realized during this year was completed at the beginning of May. Over 100 applications have been received, and the participants are expected to get various trainings in the upcoming period. The training on the application of standards is expected to be held by the end of October.

Apart from ISS, other partner organizations in this event are: the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Novi Sad, Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and RTS.
