The Institute for Standardization of Serbia Welcomes Visitors to the 48th International Building Trade Fair SEEBBE in Hall 1

The most important specialized construction fair in the Southeast European region is being held this year in Belgrade from April 22nd to 25th. Among the numerous domestic and international exhibitors, the Institute for Standardization of Serbia is also participating and will be welcoming visitors in Hall 1 of the Belgrade Fair.

Rich program for visitors and exhibitors

Within the framework of the rich four-day fair program prepared for both visitors and exhibitors operating in Serbia, we would especially like to highlight April 22nd, which is dedicated to the promotion of Eurocodes. Guest at the Institute's stand will be Prof. Dr. Jelena Dobrić, author of the book “Design of Steel Structures in Buildings”.

In addition, we would also like to highlight April 24th, when we will be presenting harmonized standards, the application of which is a prerequisite for placing construction products on the market. On that day, from 12:00 to 13:00, all interested parties will be able to attend a presentation prepared by the Institute on the topic of “Construction through the Prism of Standardization - Opportunities and Challenges”.

Guest speakers and consultations

A visit by representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure is planned at the Institute's stand from 11:00 to 13:00, and from 13:00 to 15:00 by an expert from the ISS Certification Body.

On the same day, from 15:30 to 16:30, there will also be a very popular education that the Institute has been implementing since last year, in the field of occupational safety and health, as a shorter training for associates working in the construction industry.

In addition to the interesting and useful program at the Institute's stand, consultations with standardization colleagues, construction experts and representatives of the Certification Body will be organized every day. This means that all interested visitors, especially those employed in the industry, but also schoolchildren and students, will have the opportunity to get to know the standards better.

90th anniversary and special offers

The very fact that the Institute is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year confirms how much standards are needed in all spheres of society. The Institute's participation in fairs is just one more way to present standards and bring them closer to the public.
