The new issue of ISS Bulletin „Standardizacija“ is published

The third issue of the Bulletin "Standardizacija" has just been published, and it contains texts on current events, as well as events that marked the previous three-month period. The focus of the new bulletin is the Day of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia and the World Standards Day, which are festively celebrated today, 30 September, at the Institute. On that occasion, the plaques and thank-you notes will be awarded to the individuals who contributed significantly to the development of standardization in our country. Seven awarded individuals are presented in the Bulletin.

In addition, the Bulletin deals with innovation, as a significant topic, closely related to standards. Innovations in the field of power systems have been specially treated, through the work of three young Serbian experts from the Faculty of Electronics in Niš. Also, the Competition for the selection of the best innovation in Serbia in 2021 was presented, which promotes innovative entrepreneurship and provides support to researchers. The Institute, in cooperation with the organizers of this competition, recently held a free webinar on innovation and standards. You can find the interview with one of the lecturers on this webinar in this issue of the Bulletin.

The Bulletin also presents two long-term members of the Institute, whose representatives also participate in the work of several commissions for standards: Kvalitet a.d. Niš and Jugoinspekt d.o.o. Beograd. These renowned organizations use numerous standards in their daily work.

An unavoidable topic was the standards at the Olympic Games, as well as the permanent section dedicated to quality infrastructure, which includes news from this area.
